Physicians for Human Rights Earns Fourth "Exceptional" Four Star Rating from Charity Navigator for Fiscal Responsibility

For Immediate Release

Charity Navigator, America's premiere charity evaluator, has awarded Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) its fourth consecutive four-star rating for sound fiscal management. This "exceptional" designation places PHR in the top five percent of the most fiscally responsible charities in America rated by Charity Navigator. Charity Navigator is an independent organization that provides donors with ratings and information about non-profit organizations.

"PHR holds itself to the highest standard of fiscal management. We carefully document the private donations and public foundation grants that our organization receives," said Frank Donaghue, PHR's Chief Executive Officer. "We are honored to be recognized by Charity Navigator with this rating and vow to maintain these high standards of management in the future."

PHR adheres strictly to the most rigorous ethical guidelines when conducting research and investigations of cases of human rights abuses. PHR applies equally high standards to the organization's fiscal management and is committed to the efficient and careful management of all funds made in support of its programs.
