Alice Ngari works as program associate in Kenya, providing support to PHR’s Program on Sexual Violence in Conflict Zones.
Ngari has wide experience in project management and coordination, with particular interest in the protection and empowerment of historically marginalized and vulnerable groups, especially women, girls, and children. She has more than 10 years of experience working in programs focusing on assistance to refugees and internally displaced persons, peace building and conflict resolution, and gender responsive community safety.
Before joining PHR, Ngari worked for Uraia Trust in its Women’s Voices and leadership programme in Kenya. She has also worked for the Lutheran World Federation and Stromme Foundation in South Sudan, among other organizations.
Ngari holds a BA in sociology and is fluent in English and Swahili.
