As interim chief development officer, Chloe Halpin provides leadership to PHR’s strategic fundraising operations, plans, and development team. She brings more than 13 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, including her current role as an executive director at CCS Fundraising, a global strategic fundraising firm. At CCS, Halpin has supported a range of nonprofit clients to achieve transformational change by providing interim leadership, campaign management, strategic planning support, and operational re-design to achieve and exceed fundraising goals.
Originally from London, UK, Halpin began her career at HRH Prince Charles’s charity The Prince’s Trust. More recently, she served as an executive director for a national UK education nonprofit, where she was accountable for the organization’s operations, sustainability, and growth. In that role, she enabled the organization to move away from a grant-based financial structure towards a revenue-generating sales of service model, in part by increasing the base of fee-paying members by 25 percent. During her tenure, Halpin was instrumental in strengthening the organization’s resource base with successful bids to government agencies, philanthropic trusts, and corporations.
Halpin holds BSc in social psychology from Loughborough University, an MSc in nonprofit finance and accounting from Cass Business School, and an MBA from Henley Business School.
