Kelsey Anderson supports the executive director and executive team at PHR. She organizes and manages activities for the Board of Directors and Advisory Council, as well as manages PHR’s yearly charitable solicitation and annual compliance renewal process. Anderson also coordinates logistics for events, and other conferences and meetings.
Before joining PHR, Anderson consulted for the International Confederation of Midwives, evaluating functionalities of their capacity assessment tool in South Africa. She contributed to the Policy and Strategy Division Team at the United Nations Population Fund for the Inter-Agency Task Force on Religion and Development. While working at Fundación Mujeres Con Derechos in Colombia, she orchestrated workshops focusing on human rights violations occurring inside female prisons. She has also worked as an English language instructor in Japan and as the NBC account coordinator at a digital media network.
Anderson holds a Master’s Degree in International Affairs with a focus on human rights policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and a BA in Communication from the University of Southern California. She speaks Japanese and intermediate Spanish.
