Rachel Everette assists with the coordination, development, and implementation of PHR’s advocacy strategies and campaigns in support of PHR’s programmatic work. Working out of our Washington, DC location, she develops and maintains relationships with U.S. government officials, the NGO community, health worker networks and associations, and other allies and partners.
Prior to joining PHR, Everette worked as an advocacy and campaigns associate at Crisis Action, where she assisted with the conception and execution of high-impact advocacy campaigns designed to protect civilians in armed conflict. In additional, Rachel has worked with several legal nonprofits to develop technology-driven strategies and solutions for increasing access to legal tools and resources in underserved communities.
Everette holds a JD from Georgetown University, with a concentration in international human rights and humanitarian law, and a BA from Florida State University in international relations and Chinese.
