Samantha Peck

Samantha Peck works across the program, executive, communications, and operations teams to ensure the success of daily operations and long-term projects. She partakes in research and program implementation, supports publications, assists the Executive Director and leadership across the organization, and liaises with the Board and Advisory Council. Peck also leads the organization’s intern program and staff lecture series.

Prior to joining PHR, Peck worked with EcoPeace Middle East, a nonprofit organization that addresses regional tensions and violence in the Middle East with cross-border environmental collaboration. In this role, she helped to produce and run an educational peacemaking program that was implemented across Israeli public schools. Peck also supported the organization’s development efforts as its needs shifted amid renewed political obstacles. As a student, Peck was an intern for Teach For America, for whom she recruited future corps members to teach in low-income public schools. She has extensive volunteer experience teaching and mentoring children seeking asylum in the Upstate New York area.

Peck holds a BA from Colgate University in sociology and religious studies.
