Lady Justice Patricia Nyaundi is a Senior Counsel, with over 26 years of experience garnered in both the private and public sector. She currently serves as a judge of the High Court of Kenya, following her appointment in 2022. Prior to this, she served as the Rule of Law Advisor at the National Council on Administration of Justice- Office of the Chief Justice. Prior to this, she served as a director at Crisis Action, and previously worked as the CEO of the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights. Hon. Lady Justice Patricia also served as the CEO of the Kenya Truth Justice and Reconciliation Commission and the Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Kenya. She is a passionate advocate for the advancement and protection of the rights of vulnerable persons including women and children. In 2012, in recognition of her work to promote the rights of women, she was the 15th Dame Nita Barrow Distinguished Fellow at the University of Toronto. She holds a postgraduate degree in Human Rights.
