Hannah Dunphy manages the digital presence and communications of PHR, ensuring that they are engaging and competitive. She brings creative and technical direction to content development, branding, and digital advocacy, and collaborates with other departments at PHR to strategically coordinate online campaigns that focus on digital outreach and development. Dunphy has extensive experience in the field of human rights and international justice, with specialized expertise in website design, social media outreach, and multimedia storytelling.
Prior to joining PHR, she led digital communications for Justice Rapid Response and the International Center for Transitional Justice in New York. She has previously designed communications strategies and campaigns for UN Women, the American NGO Coalition for the International Criminal Court, Amnesty International USA, and others. She has also led the production of field-based reporting on transitional justice processes in the form of short films, longform articles, and visual stories.
Dunphy holds an MA from the New School in International Affairs and a BA from New York University in International Criminal Justice and Post-Conflict Resolution. She is proficient in Spanish.
