Patricia Nyaundi, LLM

Patricia is a seasoned lawyer with over 26 years of experience garnered in both the private and public sector. She currently serves as a director at Crisis Action based in Nairobi, Kenya. Prior to this, she worked as the CEO of the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights. Patricia also served as the CEO of the Kenya Truth Justice and Reconciliation Commission and the Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Kenya.  She is a passionate advocate for the advancement and protection of the rights of vulnerable persons including women and children. In 2012, in recognition of her work to promote the rights of women, she was the 15th Dame Nita Barrow Distinguished Fellow at the University of Toronto. She holds a postgraduate degree in Human Rights.
