Rachel Guerreiro is the Advocacy and Operations Coordinator at Physicians for Human Rights, supporting PHR’s research, legal, and advocacy efforts to ensure accountability for human rights violations, as well as the general operational functions that enable the organization to advance its mission.
Prior to joining PHR, she served as Program Coordinator at the NGO Committee on the Status of Women, New York (NGO CSW/NY), where she helped to organize the largest annual civil society gathering of gender equality advocates at the UN. She coordinated programming and operations, facilitating the participation of gender equality advocates from around the world in the UN Commission on the Status of Women.
Rachel holds a Master of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in UN and Global Policy Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Global and International Studies, both from Rutgers University.
