Lindsey Green, MA

Lindsey Green is the Deputy Director of Research and oversees PHR’s research and investigation program area with the goal of investigating, documenting, and advocating to prevent and ensure justice and accountability for human rights violations.

She conducts impact-oriented research on sexual and reproductive violence, attacks against health care, violence against children, and other human rights abuses. Green brings over a decade of experience in research implementation, global health, international development, and humanitarian response in countries such as Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, The Gambia, Kenya, Myanmar, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Tajikistan, and Uganda.

Prior to joining PHR, she held positions in program implementation, evidence generation, and knowledge sharing at the Friedman School for Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, Mercy Corps, Pathfinder International, Dartmouth College, and the United States Peace Corps.

Green holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University and has a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and African Studies from Beloit College. She is proficient in French and Wolof.
