Olivia Dupont

Olivia Dupont is a Program Officer at PHR where she supports the implementation of capacity development programs and contributes to curriculum development, local network support, and project implementation in the field. Olivia plays a key role in supporting PHR’s rapid response training, public health initiatives, and research projects, including the implementation of monitoring, evaluation, and learning across the organization.

Prior to joining PHR, Olivia worked in infectious disease training and capacity development for global health care workers at the Rutgers Global Tuberculosis Institute. She has extensive experience living and working in sub-Saharan Africa and has worked with organizations such as the International Rescue Committee, the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, and the Department of State at the U.S. Embassies in Mozambique, Liberia, and Uganda.

Dupont holds a Master’s in Public Health focusing on Health Policy, Law, and Ethics from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Security and Justice and a Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of Virginia (UVA). While attending UVA, Olivia researched local perceptions of male survivors of sexual violence in Uganda and incidents of sexual abuse in UN peacekeeping missions. She is fluent in French and has working knowledge in Portuguese and Spanish.
