Joyeux Mushekuru is the manager of PHR’s work in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where he coordinates capacity-development activities for local professionals and represents PHR in meetings with government and NGO representatives.
Prior to joining PHR, Mushekuru worked for the Belgian NGO RCN Justice & Démocratie and as an advisor for the DRC-based NGO APRODEPED. He also has several years of experience teaching and conducting research at the Catholic University of Bukavu.
Mushekuru holds a law degree from the Catholic University of Bukavu with a specialization in international humanitarian law.
