Brian Kiprotich collaborates closely with staff across all departments at Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) to develop compelling fundraising materials for governments, foundations, and corporations. He is responsible for effectively communicating PHR’s mission, vision, programmatic work, and impact to prospective and existing donors to build relationships and secure funding that enables PHR to advance its critical initiatives to strengthen human rights.
Kiprotich has a strong background in grant writing, donor engagement, and human rights advocacy, including extensive experience translating complex program data into compelling narratives that drive meaningful impact. Prior to joining PHR, Kiprotich worked at the Kenya Human Rights Commission for more than four years, where he was instrumental in securing funding for human rights programs and supporting organizational growth.
Kiprotich holds an MSc in Finance from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, a BCom in Finance from KCA University, a certificate in Public Finance Management from the Kenya School of Governance, and CPA certifications. Fluent in English and Swahili, Kiprotich is passionate about using his skills to promote justice and support global human rights efforts.
