Brian Kiprotich works with global teams at Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) to provide leadership and strategy for securing funding and advancing the organization’s mission. He plays a key role in developing and implementing grant proposals, building relationships with donors, and supporting PHR’s human rights advocacy programs.
Brian is a dedicated professional with a solid background in grant writing, donor engagement, and human rights advocacy. He has extensive experience translating complex program data into compelling narratives that drive meaningful impact. Prior to joining PHR, Brian worked with the Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHRC), where he was instrumental in securing funding for human rights programs and supporting organizational growth.
Brian holds a Master of Science in Finance from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Nairobi, Kenya, a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Kenya College of Accountancy (KCA) University, Nairobi, Kenya, a Certificate in Public Finance Management from the Kenya School of Governance (KSG) – Nairobi, Kenya, and Certified Public Accountants (CPA) certifications. Fluent in English and Swahili, Brian is passionate about using his skills to promote justice and support global human rights efforts.
