Catherine Pape is the Executive Assistant and Office Manager at PHR. She works alongside Director Sam Zarifi, providing support with strategic management, new initiatives, and Board-related matters. She also assists in managing the day-to-day operations of the PHR offices in New York.
A native of Greenwich Village, Catherine has nearly twenty years’ experience as an Executive Assistant/Administrative Manager. Her most recent role was at Corporate Citizenship, part of SLR Consulting, an environmental consulting company that engages leading firms on developing best practices for reducing harmful or excessive waste.
She previously worked with the Chief Executive Officer, Executive Team & Board of Trustees at Educational Alliance, a nonprofit organization based on the Lower East Side in NYC. The Alliance sponsors educational, medical, and cultural programs for children, senior citizens, and newly arrived immigrants.
Her experience also includes administrative positions at Director’s Guild of America, Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, and Cushman & Wakefield.
Catherine attended Vassar College and graduated from Finch College (now Marymount) with a degree in English Literature (magna cum laude).
