Dorcas has a strong background as a legal and program management professional with over seven years of experience in human rights advocacy and program management. Prior to joining PHR, she served as a Program Officer at Kenya Legal and Ethical Issues Network (KELIN) and was the Africa Regional Officer at Good Neighbors International. In these roles, Dorcas championed gender justice and anti-gender-based violence initiatives across multiple African nations, with notable accomplishments that include coordinating the passage of two key anti-gender-based violence laws in Kenya. She has a proven record in resource mobilization, partnership management, and implementing impactful programs across international settings.
Dorcas holds a Master of Laws (LL.M), a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B), and professional qualifications in Business Administration and Project Management. Her areas of expertise include policy development, program implementation, partnerships management and resource mobilization, all of which she brings to support the mission and impact of PHR.
