Hasan Inal is a seasoned nonprofit finance professional with over a decade of experience in accounting, financial management, and organizational leadership. As Controller at Physicians for Human Rights (PHR), he oversees the organization’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and audit preparation. He ensures compliance with accounting standards and supports strategic decision-making through clear, timely financial insights.
Prior to joining PHR, Hasan served as Controller at GLSEN, where he managed a multimillion-dollar budget, implemented new financial systems, and guided the organization through complex financial transitions. He also held senior finance roles at the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation, supporting chapter consolidations and financial reporting, and at the New York Academy of Medicine and New York Medical College, specializing in budget management and grants accounting.
Hasan holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Toledo and a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Marmara University in Istanbul, Turkey.
