Kimberly J. Saltz, JD

Kimberly Saltz is a Legal Fellow at Physicians for Human Rights. She uses legal advocacy to reform policies, practices, and laws that undermine and violate human rights standards. Prior to joining PHR, she was a member of the Justice in Public Safety Project at the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, where she worked on policy and litigation related to criminal justice reform. Before that, she served as a legal fellow at the ACLU Criminal Law Reform Project. During law school, she interned with the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Bureau in the Criminal Section, the New York State Attorney General’s Public Integrity Bureau, and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law’s Criminal Justice Project.

Prior to law school, Kimberly worked as a research fellow at the NYU School of Law’s Criminal Justice Lab, where she worked on pre-arrest diversion for individuals suffering from mental illness and addiction. Kimberly is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and Brown University.
