Michel Nzola serves as the program and operations associate in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), where he provides logistical, administrative, and programmatic support to PHR’s Program on Sexual Violence in Conflict Zones.
Before joining PHR, Michel was a teacher’s assistant in economics at the Catholic University of Bukavu and participated in numerous research projects. Michel co-founded a soap factory, Usafi Wetu, with the aim of reducing youth unemployment in Bukavu and went on to serve as its primary accountant and procurement manger.
Michel holds a degree in economics from the Catholic University of Bukavu.
