As the Finance and Administrative Officer for Kenya, Stella Muthui supports PHR’s administration, finance, human resources, governance, and information technology.
Muthui has extensive and diverse international non-profit organization background experience spanning more than 20 years in various customer service, operations administration, office management, finance, and human resources roles. She has a proven track record of successfully setting up, managing, and supporting offices in Kenya as well as within East Africa and the Great Lakes regions, including in Somalia, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). She is fluent in English, Kiswahili with a working knowledge of basic French.
Muthui holds a degree in Human Resources Management from The Institute of Human Resource Management in Nairobi, Kenya. Stella first joined PHR as a Human Resources and Operations contractor in January 2024.
