Toby Greenfield is the Deputy Director of Development overseeing fundraising from foundations, governments, and major donors. She is responsible for creating PHR’s fundraising strategy and initiating and stewarding relationships with donors to create revenue pipelines to support PHR’s work.
Prior to joining PHR, Greenfield worked for PILnet as the Director for Development and Communications and the Director of New York. She was involved in creating and implementing PILnet’s development and communication strategy and responsible for managing the development process for foundation and government grants. She also lead the operations and administration of the New York office. Prior to joining PILnet, She worked for the SUNY Center for International Development as a Communications Coordinator and for the UN’s International Organization for Migration as a Communications Fellow. Previously, she spent 16 years in the private sector working in strategy and planning for television networks.
Greenfield has a master’s in public administration, concentrating in Nonprofit Management and Global Policy, from Rockefeller College, part of University at Albany, and a Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University.
