PHR Honored on Inaugural Gender Justice Legacy Wall for Decades of Work Combatting Sexual Violence

Legacy Wall

PHR was selected as an honoree for the inaugural Gender Justice Legacy Wall in recognition of decades of work documenting human rights violations and international crimes in conflict situations, as well as our training and capacity development of medical practitioners working with survivors of sexual violence.

The Legacy Wall honors and celebrates many of those who, over the past 125 years, have contributed to the field of international gender justice as practitioners, advocates, judges, prosecutors, grassroots and other organizations, survivors, witnesses (identified on the wall with a number to protect their privacy), academics, diplomats, and others.

The Gender Justice Legacy Wall will be installed at the new International Criminal Court building in The Hague, and will be unveiled during one of the 20th year anniversary activities at the Court in 2018. Read more about the initiative here.
